T&K's History

 

T&K's Dinor is located in the heart of Tionesta, PA.   Tionesta is a small town located on the Allegheny River and surrounded by National Forest, with approximately 650 year-long residents.   Seasonal residents make up the majority of all residences.  Our customer base is widely varied, from the many senior citizens living in Tionesta to the many families that come to Tionesta to experience the great outdoors.

After opening in the spring of 2007, our homemade pierogies had become the talk of the town. Before opening the diner, we had owned and operated a small concession stand where we sold our pierogies at local festivals. Prior to that we had been making them for approximately 15 years to fellow workers, friends and family members.  Along with our specialized pierogies, our breakfast and lunch menus are just like gramma used to make - downhome cooking.
